Solar Power - Unlimited Source of Free Energy

Solar power is the key to a clean energy future. Every day, the sun gives off far more energy than we need to power everything on earth. That's why we're investing heavily in solar plants and why we are now offering solar kits to our customers.

Renewable

Solar panels produce electricity by transforming the continuous flow of light energy from the sun to electricity.

CO2 Free

No harmful emissions are released into the air when electricity is produced by solar panels.

Low Costs

Solar Power Plant which transforms sunlight into electricity doesn't require any fuel and has no operating costs.

frequently asked questions

A few of the many benefits of switching to solar energy have been listed below and
hopefully this convinces you to shift over if you haven't already.

1. Cost efficient
Switching to solar energy can be one of the wisest financial decisions in today's world. As we see the price of fuel and fossil is on the rise and this can be a perfect alternative. The main cost involved is the cost to get it installed and after that it mostly pays for itself. Initially it might seem a little expensive but over time it can be recovered and also turns into profits.

2. Easy Return of Investment
Businesses can recoup the cost of their investment by offsetting electricity bills in just 3-8 years. If a private, commercial or industrial building sets up a solar PV rooftop system it will be eligible to avail an "Accelerated Depreciation Benefit" which is currently 80% in a year. At this rate, a business can completely depreciate the whole value of the project in approximately 4 years.

3. Income Generation
Residential users and business owners can earn a passive income for the surplus energy generated by the system.

4. Tax breaks
Government agencies, utilities, and others offer many tax credits, rebates and other incentives to support energy efficiency. They encourage the use of clean energy and support efforts to conserve energy and reduce pollution.

5. Maintenance free
With everybody's busy schedule an additional responsibility isn't what people want. Solar powered cells are maintenance free and don't require much tending to. They also have no recurring cost. Besides this, there not much wear and tear and so the parts need no replacement. The entire solar powered system comes with a guarantee of 25 years.

6. Multipurpose
It works everywhere. Its main advantage is that it can be incorporated with any device that runs on electricity. It provides with hot water, can run refrigerators, televisions and any other appliances. Not only at home, solar power has application even outside the house like street lights, solar powered boats, vehicles and many other things.

7. Reliability
It is completely reliable. India guarantees many sunny days, plus the system used is very efficient. It has hardly any movement and so wear and tear isn't a concern. It is made up of material that can withstand harsh weather conditions as they are meant to be outdoors. With India's weather conditions you are guaranteed at least 12 hours of non-stop power.

8. It is an inexhaustible source of energy
Unlike fossil fuel, solar energy is available in abundance. It is an almost nonperishable source of energy. As we know, the other sources of energy like fossils are now becoming scarcely available and this has caused its price to go up. When you move to solar energy this makes you less dependent on these sources that are expensive and all you need is the sun.

9. Clean source of energy and environment friendly
Solar energy can be considered to be one of the cleanest sources of energy available at the moment. It causes almost no pollution as it doesn't release any harmful gasses into the atmosphere and hence is considered to be a very clean source of energy. On top of all this it is available almost everywhere and is almost the same throughout the country. India being one of the most polluted countries this potion should be our priority.

10. Conserves foreign exchange
Around 80% of India's import cost comes from the import of fossil fuels from other countries and this can be cut down with the increase in the use of solar power. This not only helps reduce import cost but also helps export these solar powered systems to other foreign countries. The money then saved can be then put into departments that require it like education.
How Solar Power Plants Works?

Solar panels convert sunlight into clean and green DC electricity. Inverter converts DC electricity into usable AC electricity.

One solar panel is made up of many small solar cells. Each of these cells uses light to make electrons move. The cell is made up of two different layers that are stuck together. The first layer is loaded with electrons, so the electrons are ready to jump from this layer to the second layer. That second layer has had some electrons taken away, so it is ready to take in more electrons.

When the light hits an electron in the first layer, the electron jumps to the second layer. That electron makes another electron move, which makes another electron move, and so on. It was the sunlight that started the flow of electrons, or electricity.
On Grid (Grid-Tie) System
Make an additional income by excess power selling.

An on-grid or grid-tie solar photovoltaic system is, when your solar photovoltaic system is connected to the power grid. These systems doesn't need a battery bank because the electricity generated is send to the grid and you are using the electricity directly from the grid. This will benefit you by reducing the power usage from grid and selling excess electricity to the electricity department.

Off Grid System
Keep your loved once safe by uninterrupted power supply.

An off-grid or standalone photovoltaic system is, when your solar photovoltaic system is not connected to the utility grid and you are producing your own electricity via solar, wind, micro hydro, generator, etc. These systems will generally have a battery bank in order to store the electricity for use when needed.

Hybrid System
      Low Cost & User Friendly.

A hybrid solar photovoltaic system is, when your solar photovoltaic system is connected directly to the main power it is simultaneously charges a battery bank to provide backup for you in the time of power cuts. The electricity generated from the panel will be used to run your home and charge the battery while the excess current will be exported to the grid. This will benefit you by reducing the energy bill.
On Grid (Grid-Tie) System

PROS
1. Make your electricity bill to zero.

CONS
1. No Backup (Battery less system).
2. Stops generation when power shut downs in the grid

Off-Grid System

PROS
1. Have battery backup.
2. Minimise your electricity bill.
3. Will share excess power after battery charging to your load.

CONS
1. Have maintenance due to battery.
2. High initial cost.
3. Less performance.
